The CD North occurrence is located 12 kilometres west of Tatlayoko Lake and 50 kilometres south-southeast of the community of Kleena-Kleene. The showing is underlain by rocks of the Lower Cretaceous Cloud Drifter Formation consisting largely of sandstone. A granodioritic stock of the Late Cretaceous to the Paleocene Bendor Suite intrudes the Cloud Drifter sediments about 1 kilometre to the west.

The CD North zone consists of an area of hornfelsed sedimentary rocks and intrusive rock where anomalous ridge and spur talus fines yielded samples that graded up to 0.23 gram per tonne gold and rock samples graded up to 0.37 grams per tonne gold, and 0.39 per cent antimony and 0.42 per cent lead (Sample S3690953) (Press Release, Kingfisher Metals Corp., September 28, 2021, and Assessment Report 39734, Tables 3 and 16). Initial signs were considered promising for the formation of auriferous veins.

In 2021, a total of 214 rock samples and 2604 soil and talus fine samples were collected on the Goldrange property of Kinfisher Metals Corp which contained most of the occurrences in the area since 2020. Backpack drilling of shallow holes was completed at the Lori (092N 047), Langara (092N 036), Lost Fiddle (092N 018), and Lotus (092N 062) zones. Other new showings such as Razorback (092N 097), Day Trip (092N 096), and Clound Drifter (092N 095) were visited. Geological mapping was completed along ridge and spur traverses in addition to select targets.
